Autumn Grand Draw being organised
A ‘Grand Draw’ is being organised by the Fund Raising Group. It is expected to take place in the late autumn this year and will involve a joint social event for all members of both clubs. We have enough funds to purchase the land!
Members have generously donated some £15,000, and we have recently received a grant of £5,000 from the Dulverton Trust towards buying the site. With other grants, donations and gifts we now have enough to purchase the land. Conceptually at least we are into raising funds for Phase 2, making the site ready for use. Bere Ukes raise £1,255 for us with a great début concert for the whole Bere community
‘Everyone a winner!’ In a spectacular display of community groups cooperating and supporting each other Bere Ukes played to a packed house for their debut concert and raised £779 to donate to the Weir Quay Community Watersports project.
