Weir Quay Watersports becomes a charity

Our application for charity status is accepted.  This is great news for the project.  Charity status means we will be eligible for a wider range of funding support and have greater certainty about other benefits such as rate reductions.  We have just received £5,000 from the Dulverton Trust through Devon Community Foundation.  This Trust's support is normally only open to charities.  And we are … [Read more...]

Open forums coming up soon

An open forum for all sailing and gig club members is to be arranged so that questions and concerns can be addressed face to face with Hub Club directors and committee members of both clubs. This will take place when we have the final plans back from the architect, hopefully soon, as part of making our planning application.
