Welcome to the “Hub Club”

We are a joint facility that provides a base for Weir Quay Sailing Club and the Tamar & Tavy Gig Club, comprising a Boat Park and Boathouse, situated at Weir Quay on the River Tamar’s beautiful tidal estuary in Devon.

The Boat Park accommodates Pilot Gigs, Sailing Dinghies, Rescue Boats and Yacht Tenders while the Boathouse has Boat Storage and Working Spaces, an Exercise Suite and Toilets.

As a charity, the aim of the Hub Club is to provide leisure opportunities for the benefit of the inhabitants of West Devon and the surrounding area.

It is here to serve all “who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, financial hardship or social and economic circumstances, or for the public at large in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving the condition of life of the said inhabitants.”

The Boat Park was opened in 2016 and the Boathouse in 2018
